I'm not really smiling in this last picture, but I had to include it because my belly looks massive! Isn't new life a miracle?
We'll keep you all posted. We've got a great birth center picked out, which really is a miracle because the hospital I was supposed to have the baby at looked like it could be the set of a horror movie... seriously. Hope to be updating you shortly, meanwhile I'll be patient in the waiting!

You are SO right about those last 2 weeks (especially when you go into 'overtime' -- hockey talk for past your "official" due date.) The house really can't be clean enough, every twinge makes you hope, then if it amounts to nothing go through the emotional cycle of disapointment-surrender-trust-hope all over again. Ashlee, you were in my prayers in a special way early this morning (4 am EST) as I nursed in the dark -- and now I'm nursing yet again typing one handed at my parents computer:) This extra long wait will pass soon and you'll be holding this dear new child in your arms. So I was praying not only for today's 'worries', but for your soon to be time of caring for newborn and the rest of your dear family (not to mention yourself). Ahhhh....by Christmas you and I will be in our new grooves:) You are ever-lovely -- your preggoi pics made me smile:) Love you!!
